That statement was uttered a few moments ago by a coworker of mine. Sounds logical - I mean, no one person is responsible for all the troubles in the world, right? Wait for the rest of the statement...
"It's Bush's fault."
Clearly. Good thing that almost three years in and we’re still on that kick.
On Tuesday, April 26th, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said the following about President Obama’s birth certificate “situation”:
I think anybody who is watching this exchange in the West Wing of the White House would be appalled -- or most Americans would be appalled that this is what concerns us here when, in fact, there are so many major issues that are facing this country that need to be addressed by the President and by the Congress.
And now, Wednesday, April 27th, less than one full day later, straight from the White House Blog, we get this: "President Obama’s Long Form Birth Certificate”.
In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.
